    Hi I am applying for my father's green card. However they dont have their marriage certificate. What documents can be used instead? Is it true that Affidavits can be given only by people who are older than my father by ten years. Thanks

    Green card for mother when another GC application is pending

    Hi, I am planning to apply GC for my mother. I am a US citizen. However, her mother (ie. my maternal grandmother who is a US citizen) filed I-130 for her 2 years ago. The dates for this are not current. Can I now apply a new I-130 for my mother? Should the previous I-130 be withdrawn? thanks.
