    4th Category AOS getting married

My idea is, that aging out or not is something that involves dependant children. In the very moment the kid gets married, it's not dependant anymore, be it older or younger than 21. Which basically means, the petition does not include this specific children. But that's just my idea.

any problem for AOS for overstaying parent

That's why I suggested to consult a lawyer. "Giving a hard time" is underestimating the trouble those people are in once ICE is knocking on their door.

    Marriage to US resident

You shouldn't be traveling once you've unlawfully present, period. Has nothing to do with conditional GC, on which the conditions are due to the fact that the marriage prior to receiving the GC wasn't older than 24 months

    Marriage to US resident

What are you talking about ? A conditional GC has nothing to do with the restrictions you mention. The only thing is, that USCIS is going to check whether or not you're still married once the 2 years are over and you've filed for removal of conditions. There's no such thing as travel...

What is the definition of "Enter the United States Illegally?"

Just because somebody didn't notice you've stolen his wallet, doesn't mean you didn't steel it. It's still illegal to steel it and you might get caught eventually. Just because she passed the inspection at the POE doesn't necessarily make it a legal entry. You'll find out once the USCIS has...

any problem for AOS for overstaying parent

As far as I know overstay is only excused for spouses of USC. There's a chance your parents application is going to be rejected and they're facing deportion. Other users here might correct me if I'm wrong. I suggest you'd consult a lawyer.

Marrying to a US resident.. but

As the spouse of a USC the overstay of your visa is excused. You might want to file for EAD, a temporary working permit until you eventually receive your Greencard. File I-765 and read more about it here http://www.uscis.gov/graphics/formsfee/forms/i-765.htm Timeframe depends on your...

Going thru devorce on conditional GC with a citizen kid

When it comes to divorce while on conditional GC you still have a good chance to get those conditions removed. It all depends on how you can prove that the marriage your GC is based upon was in good faith in the first place. Even "coldhearted" USCIS officers know that some marriages just...

i485 & i130 pending on wb overstay but subject to removal

Sorry to hear about the trouble you're in. I'm not a lawyer so I have no professional advice for you, but from what I know, and from what you can read all over this forum, overstay is excused for spouses of USC. Here's some background Section 217 refers to the Visa Waiver Program...

    F....... Affidavit of Support

I really don't know what that has to do with american culture. Happens every day somewhere all over the world that somebody you trusted chickens out when it comes to action. I mean "talking the talk, but not walking the walk" is not necessarily unknown in Croatia or Germany ... you know, what I...

You can find the requirements for sponsors here: http://www.uscis.gov/graphics/howdoi/affsupp.htm There you can find the following: Who is Required to Be a Sponsor? If you filed an immigrant visa petition for your relative, you must be the sponsor. You must also be at least 18 years old...

    please help me

Appearantly you don't get it. Let's not talk about me being German and all that crap you came up with. Let's talk about current USAmerican law of which you obviously have no idea. To get it straight, once and for all, this is what you can find: when you look here...

    please help me

I hope not. I don't want to be in the same boat with illegals, who crossed the boarder with criminal intent, picked up some random identity stolen from a law abiding hard working individual who's life is probably screwed up because of this identity theft. The initial poster came here, posted...

Abused: Need divorce, worried about GC

It's certainly a good idea to consult a good lawyer. I wonder if you can find somebody who is good enough for the divorce case but then again you'd need somebody who knows immigration laws. You might want to check out this http://www.uscis.gov/graphics/howdoi/battered.htm

    Middle name

I'm aware of the use of "father's name" in Russian. That doesn't appeal to me and my case since I'm German, which makes it different from your case. I see your point. At least you probably simply use the middle initial, which is what I do, and that'll be "I" in your example no matter what.

    Middle name

I really don't know what to say, though I've been through that at least kind of myself. I never used my middle name prior to coming to the US, but since it's in my passport, they wanted me to use it in all those official forms and documents here. By now I'm used to it and it's not a big deal...
