Where does the majority stand? I wonder what is the percentage of I-485 applicants who can get approval within 10 monthes. Mine has ND 09/00, still waiting.

Should these 1500-2000 cases also include family-based cases? If that is the case, then those family-based cases are not required to file I-140. They can directly file I-485.

If IIO said the case was assigned, it probably is. I had similar experience with EAD. The first time I called was told by one IIO the case was approved. After a couple of days, I called again, the other IIO told me the case still processing. But the case was actually approved as the first IIO said.

It is her first extension. I think my mom\'s situation is common. I know a couple of cases taking this long. TSC has recently speeded up I-539, see their monthly processing time.

Can you post the RD and ND of the I-539 case? GKing,      My mom\'s I-539 got approved on 12/15 with ND 1/23/00. Just curious about your parent\'s ND.
