H1/Opt Question No the H1 has not been approved. I'd like to cancel it in fact, as there is no way to transfer it either. It has been a while since I was with that company that filed for it.

I am a student on OPT. My previous company had filed for my h-1 and when i left agreed to transfer it to my new company. I now find out that this is impossible as i hear if it has been too long since you leave your previous compnay, an H1 cannot be transferred. Is this true? I want to travel...
