can I quit and work on EAD only?

Social Security Number for new H1

EAC# received on April 17
Hi, I received the *USCIS receipt notice* for the H1B application on April 17 2006. I sent the request on April 3rd 2006. I have checked several time the USCIS case online always shown April 17 as received date now it shows June 28 2006 as recieved date. Do you know what heppaned...- eromero
