Its been a great 1.5 years that I have spent following the discussions on this forum. I wish to thank all of you for all your inputs, and pray that you get your cases processed soon!!

rkmct,
Your lawyer is correct - only partly though. It is true that VSC will put on hold applications received with company name change (even successor in interest). It is NOT true that an amended I-140 is not required. Infact, the filing an amended I-140 will remove your application...

Intrepid,
\I got my courtesy copy directly in the mail. My lawyer sent me the original notice via Fed Ex. I took both of them to the Boston INS office. They retained the orginal notice and returned the courtesy copies to me.

Guys,
I went for my passport stamping in Boston, MA. It was a real easy process and evrything went smoothly. I went in at about 7:45 this morning, and was out by about 8:15. I had to turn in my EAD, Advance Parole documents, original approval letters and photos for myself and...

GCDenied,
Sorry to hear about your case.

whatthehell,
I can partly agree to your point - that IGTE needs to initiate a process to set things right at VSC. I agree that VSC has been quite arbitrary in adjudicating IGTE cases, and the pattern of approvals does not inspire confidence. However, the more prudent approach would...

Mogaram,
Yes I did...I did this about 2 weeks ago. I had to give them my INS A# and have them link my I-140 and I-485 to-gether. What this did for me was that it ensured that my I-485, my wife\'s I-485, and my I-140 went to the same adjudicating officer. Maybe this was partially...

redsox,
