The real question is how does this end? Theoratically this is a never ending process. My guess is that for common names the embassy decides to issue visa after an arbitrary number of no objections are received or maybe based on wind direction, who knows.......

Calling anywhere else but DOS is futile The only milestone, if it can be considered that, is when DOS sends no objection back to the embassy. Then its upto the embassy if they want to redo a name check. Calling anywhere else is futile.
