If anyone is still wondering, my timeline is in my signature. It only took 6 days from the email for me to have the EAD card in my hand. I never got a second email/letter.

An LUD is the "Last Updated Date" you see when you create a portfolio on the USCIS website to keep track of your case. Go here: https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/jsps/selectusertype.jsp Register to create a portfolio of your case(s). It will also email you with updates.
