There's no such thing as approval letter in EAD. Approval notice = actual EAD card. I got 3 EAD already and I didn't receive any approval notice in form of I797 (either as my attorney).
Thank you.
Just received response from my attorney - she confirmed the same, that my old employer can't withdraw MY I485 because it relates just to me and only I or my attorney on MY behalf can do this.
Hello all,
I have I485 pending for more then a year. I140 approved about 1.5 year ago. 5 month ago I changed a job and my new employer send "port" letter to USCIS. Now my old employer told me that they're going to withdrawal my I485...
1. Can my old employer actually do this or it's mean...
In my case both mine and my wife's I-485 are pending... So looks like they just need some info from old forms. I'm not believe that it means that my namecheck is over and they prepeared our cases for final approve. But, anyway, will see soon. Will keep you updated as something will changed.
Same here:
I've got LUD on approved I-140 on 07/28/2007 same as for both mine and wife first I-131. Recently applied for new EAD for my wife and for I-131 for both of us. Their LUD still without any changes.
Will see what's going on...
Hi all!
I want to ask two questions:
1) how long it usually takes to get GC (if possible split time by steps: LC,...) from Massachusetts.
2) if i start LC with one employer do I need to start it again with other when I change my job?
Will appreciate any help.
