    can F1 get paid on website ads commisions?

    I have F1 status now. I want to get commissions from showing ads in my websites for example, google adsense, fastclick etc. I'll receive payment / check periodically. I will need to input my Social Securty Number for the affiliate (google, fastclick etc) my questions is : is it legal to do it?
