    Applying for J-1 waiver from outside of one's home country

    Greetings, Does anyone know if it is possible to apply for the J-1 waiver (no objection waiver) if one is currently residing abroad (not one's home country)? It means that we would have to contact my wife's country embassy here for the No Objection Certificate(NOC) as well as the US embassy...
