Hi: Can anyone give feedback on when an Alien # (A#) is assigned to an individual? Is it typically done when a I130/ I140 is filed and/or approved? OR Is it only when a I 485 application is filed, regardless of whether the I485 was filed as a beneficiary of a I130 or I140 petition? Thanks
