    expired passport!! did not realise it

    I am sorry for posting this here but I dont' know which is the right forum.. I am here on an H1-B visa (previously on F1-B). my passport expired on Aug 20, 2008 and I just realised it!! The indian embassy has the next "appointment date" on october 1, 2008. Am I out of status? My H1-B...
