    h-1 & i485

    all: my i485 has been filed. my 6 yr period for h1 expires in may 1st week. can i extend my h1, as i am not likely to get EAD before that time. last h1 issued to me is acutally shows a valid date of October 2002. do i still need to renew my h-1? Thanks, uggar
