    What is the penalty for overstay?

    My F1 visa expired 10 days ago. I graduated 2 years ago. My OPT expired 1 year ago. And I just lost my driver's license. I'm familiar with the 3 year/10 year ban, but what's the grace period for an overstay? Can I still apply to go back to school? thanks.
