    Trip to Canada

Thankful, When I was entering as LPR, they do stamp my passport though. I always wonder if they already know where I am coming from, since several times the IO did not ask me anything (yes, not even a word), but they did stamp on my passport.

    NYT article on immigration reform

China displays some bizarre pattern in terms of huge gap between the rich and poor, rural and urban.... Honestly, Chinese asylees too display some bizarre pattern in their behavior after asylum grant or green card approval. Look at all those cases pending BIA and Circuit Court.... Yes, 30%...

Agree. I will just hold it until I become LPR, not because I will lose my status but for the reason you mentioned.

    can asylum get

This is incorrect. She is asking if she loses her derivative asylee status. If she is a derivative asylee, she must continue to meet the definition of a child at the time USCIS adjudicates her application to adjust her status LPR, but will not have to continue to meet the definition of a child...

still waiting for GG since 2005

You need to at least find out who is causing the delay. It could be either FBI name check or material support. I just feel that the majority of these delays are incompetency and administrative error. If it is material support, there is really not much to do on your side. Progress is being...
