Pending H-1B - Travelling out of US
Hi, I have a pending H1-B applied for in early April for Start date OCt. My OPT ends in May and I have at least a 4 month gap. I was wondering if my H1B application will be abandoned (rejected) when I leave US before my OPT expires. Would I have to reapply. I have heard change of status gets...- maskatya

H1 visa Fiscal year 2006
Hello, Since the govt made an exception for H1 visa recipients in 2004 to stay in USA until Oct1st 2004 (even though the OPT exp earlier). I heard that the govt is allowing this again for Fiscal year 2006. Please let me know if this is true? Thanks- maskatya
