    It is a painful process, but, once you get the plastic card, you will feel something different. I still have more journeys to go, but at least things are moving along, which is a big relief for all of us. The bureaucracy in this free country implies and makes a lot of odd things ….. :(

    Got GC Plastic Card, still waiting for my depedents'

    It is interesting that the LUDs are not in order, but that is what happened to my case. I am still waiting for my dependents’ card/approval. I feel very tired after receiving the plastic card. Because of that small card, people like us are just suffering for many long years...

    Thank you for the info. FP done = 6/2007 AP received = 8/2007 and I got this on 8/2007 Application Type: I765 , APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION Current Status: Approval notice sent. So, as soon as I got the plastic card, I am done with this long journey, right?

    I didn’t keep track of all LUDs, so I don’t have them. PD = 6/2004 (RIR) ETA 750 Certified = 12/2006 I-140 Approved = 2/2007 I-485 filed = 6/2007 and then got the two e-mail notices from Texas CRIS. If I got the green card (plastic card), I do not need to get a VISA stamped??

    Am I going to get a notice for VISA stamp or something?? What is the “final” notice/e-mail from CRIS? These are just sudden notices that I didn’t expected at all. That is why I got very confused.
