If you mean "the grace period" after you quit the job? I am not sure if there is any grace period after quitting the job (instead of getting laid off). You need to be "in status" to apply at the border - which will - most likely - not be the case if you quit your "L1B" job.
My thoughts: If the officer lets you keep your daughter's existing TD (considering it is still "valid" for about an year), our theory regarding the validity of your wife's TD status (while you are in your grace period) is vindicated. But if she is issued a new TD to match your new TN, what...
>> Does she need to change her TD as well as I got my new TN or she simply maintains her existing TD status as my TN is with new employer now?
She can continue to be on existing TD status as long as you get your new TN. You will need to take steps to get her a new TD (based on your new TN) when...
Your diploma (degree certificate) is required. Transcripts (marksheets) are not required, but you could bring them along if you like. Not sure what "provisional certificate" is - are you yet to graduate (no convocation yet)?
So you have registered your car in California and have the title in your hand?
If yes, how did you do this without officially importing it (and getting the letter from manufacturer stating that the vehicle meets the US standards)? Didn't the DMV people ask for anything at all while registering...
>>Would the Approval notice also have my new i94 ?
--Yes - The TN "extension" normally has the I-94 below it.
>>What are the next steps after getting my I-797 Approval Notice ?
--Continue working after verifying the I-94/expiry date.
>>Hence I was wondering if I can be anywhere in US during the premium processing time other than my base location.
Yes, you can be anywhere in the US - not restricted to NY.
I am not sure about this since I never had to use WES. Your credentials used for Canadian PR could be different than this time - since this is for US educational equivalency. Just my thoughts!
If your degree is from outside US/Canada, look into getting it evaluated first (US degree equivalency). For TN, you can go to any POE (land border) or PFI (any airport where they have US immigration).
Your TN letter is different than your offer letter. The most important things your TN letter should have is your (TN) Job Title - which is different than your company/internal job title and your job duties (that must be related to your educational qualification - i.e. degree). You can google TN...
>>my US employer is offering me with US Employment letter which I will be using to apply for for TN Status.
- Make sure that this is a "TN Letter" - that is specifically drafted to support your application for TN (and not just any US employment letter)
>>I am planning to apply TN Status online...
It depends on why you were denied. If the denial was only due to " suspected being a manager instead of consultant", you should be ok - since you are not seeking TN status anymore. Good luck!
>>The new employer is American but I will be hired through their Canadian entity
Ok. You do not need a new TN if you are living / employed in Canada and will be traveling to the US just for the conference.
>> as a Canadian citizen I do not need to apply for a B1 visa to enter on B1 status for...
