BAGUSAC this is what i think after reading post from other members in the forum talking to an officer or taking an infopass appointment will not trigger any advancement in cases...only thing it does is makes a note of your call....only thing that can trigger movement in case is Case Status...

Al_aos thanks for ur input...the only reason i was thinking of infopass is USCIS general 800# is not helping in anyway....as i have given FP on Jan 19...they are not even raising a case status enquiry on my case saying that u have to wait for 60 days....i guess this infopass will help in...

not sure rduman what is happening....particularly with VSC there is no good news lately....i will give one more shot by calling VSC rep and then will go for an infopass appointment.

alongwait4gc it is very hard to predict what might be the additional evidence...if you see the case of Harakad,,,he also was in turnmoil of this situation but he finally got approval even before he gave the FP....in ur case i see that you dependent might have to give code 1 or code 3 FP...

Just to refresh the wait list....here it goes....lets see if some movement will happen this week...wht i am guessing is as North East is having horrible weather...VSC might be having lots of persons on holidays...thats why i guess we dont see any movement at VSC.... Please update your info if...

rduman.... there is no update on my case so far....i am also thinking of this infopass stuff...my only issue is my add in GC is my permanent address in NJ and currently i am working for few months in VA....so my concern is can i go for infopass in VA rather than wasting one day salary and...

Harakad Sounds to me like an approval....but only thing i am skeptical in the msg is about "based on our earlier approval of this case"....this means that they approved your case earlier and case was not updated or something....now they might have sent you a welcome notice or something...

March Visa bulletin is out and we might have some bad news....for those waiting in EB3... it says that later in Spring or Summer...there might be retrogression of the dates becasue of high demand. is this the reason why our cases are yet to move fwd or some other issues.....i guess it is...

in my case we both got the notice at same time and for same date....where as when we did EAD renewal we got seperate notices for differenet dates....both notices were recieved in a week gap... here u can use the 800 and when the options says "you feel your case has been seperated" talk to the...

my experience of calling the VSC rep (not the usual help desk at 800#) have so far all gone in waste.....i thought they might be knowing something...but they all ended up saying sorry sir we cannot give u any info here....call the help desk person and they will tell u about ur status. i guess...
