Financial advice for Young DV Winners

Thanks so much Britsimon and SusieQQQ, that was my biggest worry thus far. I have a degree in Industrial Engineering. Through my research I've found that the need for IE's in the US is very high. But that doesn't cement anything; especially in this economy.

Financial advice for Young DV Winners

Hi all, I am a 23 year old male, freshly out of university (I graduated last year). I've been perusing the forums and time after time I've seen in threads many people asking the question concerning having a bank statement to present to the CO just in case it's necessary in an interview...

Hi everyone, I just wanted to get your opinion on the progress of SA so far? Are you all pleased with the April Cutoff? At first I wasn't particularly anxious about the rate but as time progresses, I find myself growing very nervous. Britsimon? Veronice? thoughts on this? Do you think we may see...

DV 2014 - South America and The Caribbean winners

Yes I agree, but I've seen some years where they have gone all the way up to 1800 so I'm hoping and praying that they do this year. I haven't really been following the statistical threads, I'm more or less just waiting with bated breath to see if I get the opportunity or not . I am from Trinidad...

DV 2014 - South America and The Caribbean winners

I think the best option right now is to be patient and wait for the next VB to get a clearer indication of the rate at which the visas are being processed, we also shouldn't rely too heavily on it purely because it fluctuates month to month. I'm positive though that we will all have an interview!

rallgis rivets Hi Pinpanpunchi, even though it does seem like a high number, from what I have read on this forum, it seems like everyone will have a fair chance of receiving an interview. To be honest all you can really do now is wait until next year and see how the cut-off numbers are...

DV 2014 - South America and The Caribbean winners

I like this thread, so far I have only seen a handful of South American winners. I wonder what this means? Were entries for the region low this year?

    South America DV 2014 Winners

Hi, I'm from the Caribbean too and I've been doing a lot of reading and looking for more South American Selectees, unfortunately I have not found many. My CN is SA000017xx I'm not particularly sure how good it is but it was my first time entering and I consider myself very fortunate to have won it.
