I have read curiousgeorge's awesome summary too. Wanted to know from other folks also who went through the process of TN to GC...did you choose AOS or CP? which one is better/preferrable?

nelsona's response is accurate. When i got my TN, I had specifically asked the agent how soon prior to the actual start of the job can I get TN status...they said as far ahead as you want but the status would kickin the day you show up at the border.
