    CEAC data update

Sorry if I am a little bit emotional. I think many of you understand me :) I understand that DV2014 was not a "big fail". I just would like to expect that this year will not be so much disappointing as previous one for the winners. I made some calculations for EU region and compared CEAC files...

    CEAC data update

Thanks! Thanks to you we are more prepared and will be less dissapointed. There are still some chances left for us I think. Very few visas are issued and I hope that this trend will improve during next VBs. In 2014 the picture was different. Many visas have been issued and there was a chance...

    CEAC data update

Actually, as I understand latecomers have not so much to do with next VB. It is more important to see if they received 2NL and according to this CEAC data neither latecomers were invited, nor big step was for high CNs in the last VB. This means that neither latecomers, nor high CN winners were...

    CEAC data update

Very strange In the beginning of May, there were 16852 Family members for CNs below 34,000 with status other than NVC and Refused for EU region Now, after 2NL - 16924 This should mean, that only 16924 - 16852 = 72 Family members with CNs below 34,000 were added for EU. (Late DS260s) 72 family...

    DV 2015 Winners Meet Here

Wow. Interesting. I understand that I increased my chances of winning now, but back then I just selected Georgia because I am Georgian, my parents are Georgians (both) and I grew up in Georgia :). It just so happened that I was born in Ukraine becuse my father was there in military services...

    DV 2015 Winners Meet Here

Thank you. I already figured this out thanks to you guys and thanks to this forum. The only question that remains is whether I should update my birth certificate? The certificate I have was issued when I was born, back in USSR :) Should I update it or just certified translation is enough?

    DV 2015 Winners Meet Here

No, I am the winner. I was born in Ukraine, but filled application selecting the country of eligibility as Georgia (did not know the rules when filling the application but fortunately I am still eligible because my wife is Georgian and both countries are in EU region). My parents are Georgian as...

    DV 2015 Winners Meet Here

I also have question regarding police certificate. I lived in Ukraine during 2006-2011. When I received 1NL in May 2014 I applied for the police certificate in UA embassy and received it at end of June 2014. Is this certificate still valid? As stated in requested documents list, the certificate...

sign and submit application for children

    1. For children this is not a case. You can do both. 2. As for the passports, you need to get passports for your children separately and use them.

    DV 2015 Winners Meet Here

In case the interview is scheduled in August/September and applicant is issued a visa, when should he enter the USA? Until end of September or he/she still has 6 months to enter the US? Till let's say February/March of the next year?

When to file 260 to delay interview.

Interesting. Still it takes them too long to process DS applications. I wonder why? Comparing to the previous year they issued less visas for the same period. If they do not speed up I think they will not be able to issue 50,000 visas as planned.
