I have no idea about it. I think maybe office is too busy, but in the same time I know some people from Anaheim who got interview in 1 month after filed. Background check shouldn't cause such delay for the interview. Maybe for decision, but not for the interview, I guess.
1. I didn't recieve any receipt from them, maybe my attorney did? I didn't really care about it as soon as I got FP NOTICE.
2. FP notice they sent from USCIS but it wasn't clarified form which office exactly.
Dont worry about receipt notice as you already got you FP invitation. That mean that...
Actually I was almost out of status when applied. So I really don't know how they choose? And I contact the office almost every week, but the answer is the same: " Your case is pending". That's why I want to understand their priority as I see that some people get interview in Anaheim without delay.
