    OC DV lottery 2024

Yes probably, but there would be no harm in emailing them. OC will smash the quota now anyway, and asking SYD why they can't be more like SUV would seem like an understandable question.

    OC DV lottery 2024

SYD just marked 4 cases as READY – one AS region and 3 OC. The numbers for the OC region are: 2024OC2002 2024OC2032 2024OC2045 As you can see, although the VB went crazy high, SYD didn’t go that far – not even close. SUV on the other hand took cases to nearly 2600. That’s kinda unfair – but...

DV 2024 All Selectees (Consular Processing - CP)

Unfortunately, the VB being current up to 50,000 does not mean there is a chance for many cases that high. Several embassies have reached their capacity with numbers in the low 30's. So it is likely you won't get a 2NL

    OC DV lottery 2024

Well last year the whole thing came to a halt at September 6th. Not just the region, worldwide.

    OC DV lottery 2024

By setting so many interviews they have ensured they will exceed the OC quota. That means they are taking "unused" quota from another region. The rules allow for that, and the way they have made capacity available means it's going to happen. Auckland only took 4 cases at numbers under 2100 - so...

    OC DV lottery 2024

Wow Suva took 100 cases today. Congratulations - they decided to blast through the regional quota They didn't quite reach the VB limit - but OC2599 was the highest.

Error in country of chargeability and case Number

Just to point out, there are two questions on the entry regarding chargeability. The question number 5 is place of birth. I'm sure you chose Algrria as you said. However, question 6 is ONLY answered in cases where your chargeability is different for some reason than your place of birth. SO...

You could file a mandamus lawsuit to try and get action, but chances are they will finish your 221g soon anyway. But it's your choice. I think Curtis Morrison charges about $4k

    DV 2021 ALL SELECTEES

Yes this took longer than other cases. Although the order reads as a simple decisive decision, they clearly struggled with it in some way - especially as they were reversing multiple highly regarded Federal Judges (Mehta and Chutkan have taken the many of the J6 cases).

    OC - 2025 - Selectees Thread

No, you are not. As Sm1smom and Susie pointed out your understanding was incorrect, and there is no place where my website says place of birth is important for a derivative in the circumstances you describe. You will be charged to Australia after marriage and the fact that the UK are in the...

DV 2025 All Selectees (Consular Processing - CP)

'1. It is too early to know how high (how risky) your number is because we don't know how many people are selected, we will know more after July/August, and then we would know even more after January 1. You could delay your DS260 submission if you want, but again, the risk of that delay is...

    OC - 2025 - Selectees Thread

It is a random selection. The reason that OCers often get selected more than once is that the chance of selection is higher in OC than other regions. Each region has its own draw, and a low number of entries for the number of selected cases means higher chance of selection. Having high numbers...
