Thanks Helge for quick reply. My application was filed by my employer but I got laid off. So not sure if any notice will got to my old employer or will directly come to me. I am moving from PA to NJ so same service center. Not sure about notify BCIS now or later (if RFE issued).

Gurus, What happens if 485 was file 1 year ago and one gets laid off and can't find another job immediately (job market is pretty bad rightnow). Does one go out of status or one can keep on looking for a job maintaining status? Any experience/insights are very much appreciated. Thanks,
