If you cannot get his BC, how about an affidavit written by you and witnessed testifying that the child is not yours and you were not his legal guardian and stating the reasons why you can't get his BC....Maybe some of the experienced posters lend their opinion to my suggestion.

Complexity, thanks for the reply. I did call and there is no record of it, but the lady told me that the ticket could have been given by highwy patrol. I was just coming to the city. I may not be able to get a record of it. If I do I will mention it, if not....Thanks.

Do you have family back home that can get you an official BC. I needed mine and had my mom get me a copy. Let us know what is happening with your situation. Also could you tell me how you got the fingerprint the same day you received the notice.

My understanding is that your application would have been looked at closely at or just before interview time and not before. You should have consulted the attorneys before applying or even better came to this site and asked. You have to be patient and wait. Good luck.

That is a great resource, which I used to calculate my trips and when can I apply. I am planning to print all the calculations for the trips and take it with me to the interview, just in case.
