Travel on H4 visa, while H1B is being processed.
Hi HelloKrishna, What did you have to do? Could you use your H1 to work? Or did it get rejected because your I-94 was not valid due to travel?- mou_ayo

H4 to H1 Change of status...Need to travel to India
Hi, I am currently in US on H4 visa(H4 expires in 2008). I am going to apply for H1B this April. My questions is if my H1 gets approved in May, Will I be able to travel to India in June and return in August without getting H1 stamping? My India visit is very important.
