    Passport renewal (expires Jan 08 - visa 2011)

    I have been through this situation. Passport can be renewed while in US. However visa will remain on the old passport. You will have to carry both passports for immigration/visa purposes. This does not cause any issue. USCIS/INS understands this.

    Question on LC through Traditional

    As per my HR guy it takes around 1 month to change the status online after recruitment report is send and another 1 month to get the hardcopy. These are average figures and can vary considerably
