yes you can yes you can. i asked for it to be postponed by a month, and they postponed it by two months. the fp notice has a section which you can use to postpone- laksara

can I extend my FP period?
yes you can you can postpone it. the botton portion of fp notice says how to do it. i just postponed mine by about two months and finally got a second notice- laksara
