    My 6 yrs of H1 is expiring 2nd week of april, I got my EAD and AP , I am not planning to apply for 7th yr extension, do I or my employer need to do anything specific to say that I am currently working on EAD ? fill any forms ? notify anybody ?

    I think u need to get a duplicate passport I think you need to get a duplicate passport from Indian consulate, I would suggest better consult ur lawyer. My friend had similar problem hwent to Indian consulate and explained them then he got a temporary passport for a year on which he had done...

    FP for 485 receipts in September/October 2001

    Indiannewyorker, I thought NSC will process as per nd date, does it really mean the last part of processing has started ? I know for CSC processes the last part of 485 once it receives the FP but that is not the case with NSC ... i heard we have to wait for 4-5 months ...

    July-August 2001 was the time most of applications were filed ( eb3,eb2 were current) I will not be suprised if takes 3 months just for the july applications to get approved. I am wrong completely ???

    My EAD approved but my spouse not yet ????

    Me and my wife (H4) applied for EAD and AP at the same time but mine got approved and got my card within 3 weeks but my wife didnt come yet ... her LIN number is prior to mine ... Does dependents EAD are approved only after the main applicants approval ?
