    congratulations f e my fate is still hanging. i had called IIO on friday and she was surprised too that my case was still hanging. i have exact same situation as your in terms of RD/ND. she thinks the reason may be that the officer was unable to access my I-140 file !!!. hope something...

    ND 1/5/01. INS did not tell me when the request was made but as i said he did confirm that they have my I-140 with them now. still he says wait for 30-60 days !!!!

    I just spoke to a really nice IIO in a long time. He was nice enough to tell me that the reason for delay in my case is on account of I-140 being approved for CP. He said they have to retrieve the I-140 file back. He was kind enough to confirm that in my case the file is back. Looks like VSC...

    EAC 01-073-xxxxx, ND 01/05/01 still waiting.... called IIO says wait. I-140 for CP takes time he says as they have to get the file back from NVC/Consulate.

    as long as it is same or more than one in labor cert you are fine if it is less than labor and if u get RFE then i guess they can question you??

    I am still waiting 485 Approval There is no change in AVM. Still says received on .... I am thinking of writing to local senator sometime by end of this week if nothing happens. This is ridiculous as March cases have already started and my ND is 1/5/01.

    Congrats Joma. Need Info What was ur last status about I-140 did u correspond with consulate in India or it all just happened. Also did u get senators/congressmans office involved??
