my friend got the same msg after he has received an email of approval. I did not get this msg but I only got the email approval. We called our lawyer and he has the approval notice of our 140.

Congratulations!!! What day in March is your RD for 140/485? My 140 was approved, RD Mar 29/30 2003, PD Aug 2001, and FP received by USCIS, 485 LUD changed same day as 140 approved but no change in status.

saras76, I hope concurrent processing is still ongoing for those like us who have filed and near approval. My priority date is Aug 01 and 140/485 RD is Mar 30, 2004. I've seen approvals for March so I'm hoping that they will still do concurrent so I can get approved. I hope TSC still...

I saw in the immigration-law.com website that concurrent processing is stopped but in murthy.com it is only stopped for priority dates after Jan 2002 and those filing this year. Which one is correct?

The priority date is the date of when labor was received. If labor is approved, the date can be found at L.O on the lower right hand corner of the document.

Just go there and show your fp notice to the guard. He will give you a form to fill up and then you will give it with your id to the counter. You will be given a number and when your number is called your fp will be taken. They don't look at the dates and no need to call for rescheduling...

I asked my lawyer the same thing but he suggested not to apply h1 extension since it's not necessary, too many payment that overlap. Though my case is simple and straightforward and I have a stable job in a stable company.

:confused: To my knowledge and the various websites I read, 140/485 concurrent filers will follow the 140 processing date and not 485 date according to the memo. And the FP notice will be sent nearing 140 adjudication. This is a new one for me. Why different instruction for TX?
