We didn\'t see a whole lot approved EB3s. We see them occasionally 1 or 2 in every couple of weeks.

RE: My I140 was approved for CP. In July 2000 my case was also sent to Consulate by NVC. Same time, I also received Pocket III. But, I could not go for CP, because of my H1b and other issues. I filed I485, RD 12/19/2000. Still waiting. Facts: 1. INS does seek I140 file from NVC or...

More Info: I spoke with a NVC lady about 3 weeks back. According to her, INS Service centers do not reasons to NVC itself. NVC may not know, in all cases, how many filed AOS vs how many are doing CP.... I hope what she said is true, at least partially. Hopefully in my case, they process...

RE: No. If your I140 was approved for CP, NSC sends those files to NVC(National Visa center). The NVC sends them to your Consulate within 1-2 months after it recieves from NSC. SO, your file will not be in NSC. Now, since you filed AOS, NSC will ask the NVC/Consulate to send the file back...

Hanuman, What is your RD and ND? NSC is officially processing Feb 2001 cases. If your RD is 09/2001, it could take 6 months!. Otherwise, I couldn\'t understand why IIO should tell you that!? Doesn\'t make any sense! Did they tell you why the backlog? or What is preventing your case...
