    WRONG AGAIN? Now what?????

I see alll our points.... and I want to thank you all anyway. Even the hardest comments had some things right. So I'm learning thru this process a lot. I thought that I had everything under control. Well, it was not quite, but that rejection is over. As for now, I did resend the package tonight...

    WRONG AGAIN? Now what?????

I guess I'm now on the "safe" side. The X day is very subjective, that's what I was told. Some officers follow this date and some are more ample. Now I know that I better be prepared for interpretations. Still, I'm pleased that at least they didn't cash the cashiers check. As I'm already over...

    WRONG AGAIN? Now what?????

Thank you all for your responses. My GC says Resident since August 31, 2004. I got approved on August 31, 2005. To apply Naturalization I counted 90 days exact from August 31, 2009, so the date that applies to my case is June 2. I thought that if I got my package to be delivered right on...

I'm an asylee applying for citizenship, PR since August 31, 2004. Based on the 5 years minus 90 days, I should be able to send my papers by June 2, 2009, which I did. Unfortunately my papers were returned... for the second time!!! It says that iit seems I'm seeking naturalization based on either...

Name change Fairfax, Virginia - Received oath letter

So in overall it took you about 6 months even when requesting a Name change. I'm Miami, Florida. I was wondering if that is about the same time that my process will take here. I would like to request a Name change but during the interview, just like you did...

I have tons of questions. I just hope I get some good clarifications here. Thank you in advance! In about less than a month I must submit my papers to request Citizenship thru Asylum. ** Before or After? In Miami- Please clarify... Need your help

Anyone with a good idea on timeline of Citizenship through Asylum from interview to Oath? I get it should be about the same as a standard one. I would like to get some confirmation if possible, please. Apparently Miami is one of the worse places to request Citzenship (1 thru 1.5 years)

** Before or After? In Miami- Please clarify... Need your help

My other question is, if it will be about the timeline to get the actual interview, oath and finally passport if requesting citizenship through asylum. I just need to know if it would take longer than, let's say for a normal 5 year permanent resident (thru work, marriage, etc.). I read in this...

** Before or After? In Miami- Please clarify... Need your help

Thank you Bobysmith and Sam99 for the responses. Is there a way to find out if Miami's Department of State Offices perform judicial oaths? I'm not quite sure what to do yet about my name change, but the one thing for sure is not delay my process or attempt to do anything that may delay it...

How to report Fraud approved GC application?

I read your story. I understand it must be difficult but I think you don't need to do anything. In life, everything happens for a reason. She was just not a good friend to you and you had to go thru this whole ordeal to see it, otherwise you wouldn't have believe it. Just relax, don't worry...
