Am I stuck in name check.

I had my FP done on the same date in California, and also haven't got anything. I don't know if it's due to a name check procedure, summer vacation season or whatever, but a lot of folks who sent papers around mid june/ early july are still wating for their interview letters. What I want to say...

    Anyone approved without lease/employment letter?

When I applied - yes, when I had AOS interview - no. When I applied for I-751 - no (approved without interview). You should be fine.

    Anyone approved without lease/employment letter?

    1. Bring the new ones just in case. It's good to have a proof of stable employment. 2. I didn't have any lease agreement either (both times - for I-485, and for I-751) - and got approved. Good luck!

Thank you guys, I will ask my hubby to file it. Kinda confusing though, when I called the misinformation line nobody even mentioned this form. I thought only AR-11 is needed... Anyways, thank you for your advice! What would I do without this forum...

    Neverending process for Russian citizen

Rex is right. Ok, here's the thing: in order to apply for naturalization based on marriage to USC, you have to be a resident for 3 years (minus 90 days) AND still be married to the same US Citizen for 3 years (minus 90 days). That's the only way. Officers could be wrong sometimes. Anyways, she's...

Conditional GC - Filing for divorce

Sorry to hear about your problems, mate. Actually, as Patty was saying, you don't have to wait for the 2 year requirement if you are get divorce now. You can file your I-751 straight away. Look at the uscis website - they suppose to have the info about the I-751 waiver.

    AR-11 BIG delay...

No problem! No, your husband doesn't have to file I-865 at all, cause you already have your conditional GC, right? If you were in the process of I-485, than yes, he should file it. But since you are already a permanent resident you sponsor doesn't have to file it. I also filed AR-11 (only!)...

    I-751 Urgent Help

Ok, got ya. OK, here's the thing. It's the new procedure they follow, thus everybody gets these letters. I didn't because I applied in May 2005, and it all was different then. You'll be fine, don't worry. I-751 is not a priority application, it's a formality.
