Transferred to Local INS office in Washington -Aug 15th RD

This thread is quiet because the people at Arlington office are the only ones who can break the silence i.e by scheduling interviews which will bring life back to this thread. Other than waiting no one on this thread has any information to share. :( Perico, Visit the 485 forums and see...

VSC tranferred my i-485 to wash dc. Any idea how long till i get interview notice?

Follow the Transferred to Washington thread. Currently, Arlington office is not scheduling any Employment Based I-485 interviews because they are moving to Falls Church. No one has any clue on whats going on there. Hopefully we will see something happening after September. Keep following that...

The processing dates posted in the periodical reports don't apply to us. I know one guy in this thread who's TD was Nov 2003 was interviewed couple of months back. The processing dates only apply for family based cases. The people sitting in Arlington have no clue abt what to respond when they...

One has to go there in the early morning hours, stand in the queue for 2 to 3 hours, get a ticket. That possibly how you can bug them. Anyways, I don't see any achievement from bugging them. They will nodd thier heads as usual and say we can't do anything, you will have to wait till the move it over

Basically the Congressman's office said that they aren't sure abt the dates. They have asked me to call sometime in August and they would have some info on the move. My colleagues whose I485 was filed in 2003 have got approved. We all are waiting like jerks in the world of nowhere praying...

For Employment based transfers its the transferred date. For all other applications it would be receipt date. How is everyone else doing? As I had mentioned in my prev post, don't expect to see any interviews till they move to the new office. This has been confirmed by the Congressman's...

Got I-EAD from Local office Just back from the local office. The experience was not worth sharing. Reached there around 7 am and saw that 150 people were already in the queue. By the time we got in, the lady started telling people that the tickets for the day have been consumed and no more...

Adnamj, I don't think they will process Interim EAD application based on the mail you sent. I would rather go to the local office and do a walk-in for IEAD. I am planning to do so because its been over 90 days and haven't heard anything. Other than that, has anyone got interview letter...

Transfer mode 1st possibility -------------- Cases might be picked up based on Original receipt date. cmr's VSC receipt date for I-485 is Dec 2001 which might be the reason for the interview. gtahiliani's receipt date is Jan 2002. Looks like his will be the next. 2nd possibility...

I-485 dates at Arlington office have moved The I-485 processing dates at Arling show May 12,2003 as of today. Anyways, it doesn't really make sense because I think these dates apply for family based I-485 applications. Why I am saying this is, the Adv Parole date shows as March 02,204 whereas I...
