save_intvu,
Congratulations on receiving your cards. Good to know that your journey finally came to an end. To tell you more about my case, I did my fingerprinting in the first week of July. Yesterday when I checked my mail, I saw the approval letter from the local office saying " You case...
Local office has mailed me fingerprinting notice
Guys,
Just to tell you that my GC process has not ended yet. Assuming the fact that my file had been sent to Vermont for producing the physical card, I was waiting all this long for the card to show up.
To my suprise on Friday, a...
TO tell you the fact, there is only so much we can do when it comes to interacting with the local office. Inspite of going there personallty, we couldn't get any response from the officers. They are basically there to tell you things that you already know of. They are not there to help anyone...
I haven't got anything yet. Still waiting for the Green Card to show up. Will let you know as soon as I get it.
I haven't contacted anyone from the time I heard from Congr. Wolf's office.
Card production doesn't take that long. My wife's card and welcome letter arrived in less than two weeks after she was interviewed. Hopefully by the end of next week we should be getting something in the mail.
As you said, lets hope for the best.

Thats true. Even I got a voicemail from Judith on Friday saying the file has been sent to Vermont and cards will be ordered soon.
The file was sitting all this time here in the local office. It has to be sent to Vermont so that our permanent residency gets registered and cards are ordered...
Try looking at the older threads ( from 75-95). You'll get to know the interview experience for several people. To tell you in brief, take all the documents that you can. Whether you passport will be stamped or no, depends on thier sucking system and the officer too. Just pray everything goes...
I have been asked to wait. That's it. As you correctly said, it all depends on the officer who interviewed us. But then someone can tell me or leave a note that he has to update such and such case.
I don't think these slackers deserve anything.
Sorry guys. I am late to post my findings. Nothing changed from what you posted. Just that the officer was a white guy and talked nicely. I was told to wait till next year and processing a card does take time.
I have learned a new theory here. The primary applicant will not get his/her card...
tired_2005,
Yes I didn get it. Thanks a lot for giving up your appointment. This will help me find status on my permanent residency card.
Let us all know how your interview goes.
I can read your frustration. Looks like visiting the local office and complaining about thier work is of no use. I spoke to Congressman Wolf's office and the lady there is trying to do something in my case. Why don't you call her up and try to push your case too. I will try to visit the local...
Got some feedback on the Green card
My wife received the welcome letter yday in mail. I am still waiting for mine. Looks like there is some serious problem with my case not being updated by the officer at the local office.
Just got off the phone with Congressman Wolf's office. My file...
The fingerprints are usually updated the same day into the USCIS database. Still make sure you do your fingerprints well before your interview. I am sure there won't be any date mentioned on your fingerprinting notice. Go on a Wednesday around 10:30 am if thats the case. I won't recommend on...
I see. I guessed that there must be something fishy going on in the local office. Any idea on what needs to be done if this is the case. Do we have to again taken an appointment with the local office? God gimme a break
Why did you cancel your trip? You could have travelled using the stamp on...
