This is ridiculous
Congratulations status2005 for your fast approval.
Now, this is getting to be ridiculous. Processing time of 10 days in texas compared with 4 months in Nebraska, with the twist that its almost completely random what you get. If there was someone at the USCIS who cared...
Saturday LUD fun
Same thing there, my I-140 that had been showing 06/03 since I filed now shows LUD of 07/29. My approved AP also changed to 07/29. Any idea what's the reason of all these massive LUD changes every saturday?
I think they use ND, someone around here should confirm this. It's strange that it took for you 2 weeks to get your ND. I filed after you, the 25th of may and got my ND before you. Even my LIN case numbers are earlier than yours... Gotta love the USCIS!
Yes, different LINs is the way it's supposed to be. You have filed two different cases and therefore you get two different case numbers. If you filed AP and EAD you should have also LINs for those.
Well, even when the USCIS adjudicating behaviour seems to be quite erratic most people seems to be months away from a resolution and not years like it was with the PBEC. We can even kind of track the progress or no progress around here. Also, if you look at USCIS processing times of the previous...
Wasn't July 24th the beginning of filing I-485's exclusively to Nebraska? Maybe all this massive LUDs have something to do with this. I have a ND of May 31st at NSC and I didnt get a LUD. Still stuck in 06/03.
At least its better that there are LUDs than nothing else happening.
Yes, it definitely looks like there is some action coming out from NSC now. For some reason they stopped processing cases since may but they have resumed processing from around this timeframe, end of March beginning of April. Will they pick up speed? Will they stall again? Stay tuned, the drama...
This is just a guess, but I'd assume that soon after establishing premium processing for i-140s. I don't think discontinuing concurrent filing is such a bad thing, specially if you are going to have premium processing of I-140s. Fast I-140 approvals means you'll be able to file for I-145 much...
This is correct. Right now you can file I-140, I-485, AP and EAD at the same time. However the USCIS is going to phase out concurrent filing probably later in the year, so if your PERM doesnt get approved before that you may not be able to apply for concurrent filing.
This is correct. If eflame happens to be a LIN case it would be a good sign given the fact that we had seen NO movement at all at NSC in the last 2 months. Maybe NSC will become as fast as TSC if they start processing their own cases?
Associations like AILA have a much better chance of being effective than individuals who are currently suffering USCIS, and it should be those type of associations who should be pushing USCIS to stop this adjudication order nonsense.
This is not to say that we can still call USCIS as...
There shouldn't be much difference in processing times between EB2 and EB3 provided you were not born in a country that is subject to retrogression. In these conditions you should file for whatever is a clearer case for you, probably EB3 because you dont have a masters. Is your 3 year diploma...
I really doubt the USCIS listens to people's requests. They must have their own agenda in how to implement case processing and I doubt people calling them up is going to change anything.
Well, it makes sense that transfered VSC cases get processed first because they were filed before than most cases at NSC. What I don't understand is how come all the new cases that go to TSC get approved so fast. It's a slap in the face to everybody else, and anyone with some common sense at...
bigbang2001, I'm on the same boat. It's incredibly fustrating that the USCIS can't be even consistent when it comes to processing times in its centers, and its sad we have to rely on our luck so get faster processing or not. Specially those of us who have been waiting forever for our paperwork...
