my case was filed in Dec 2004 as RIR, but today my lawyer told me it will have to be converted to RIR. is it possible it was remanded and converted to TR, since my PD is much later than most people on this site?
and how does one know if they were remanded or not?
online status shows RIR, so am...
I am in a similar situation, but weirdly different:
Original case was filed as RIR in Dec 2004, case closed in error by DOL claiming they did not receive 45-day letter but subsequently reopened, and the screen shot of the reopening notice showed the case still as RIR in Jul 2006.
Then again...
coolz, thanks for your detailed answer.
what exactly is remanded, and why did remanding change it to TR? are you sure lawyer had nothing to do with it? how did he realize it had remanded and converted to TR?
I truly feel sorry for you guys from so far back
:(
to be honest every time I...
my case was originally filed as RIR in Dec 2004. Since then it was closed twice due to mistakes on DOL's part (claimed they didnt receive 45 day letter when they did), but reinstated.
Now today my (lying crooked) lawyer tells me that he is going to convert it to RIR. I am surprised to hear...
thanks immi for your reply.
regarding retrogression, if I lose my job at my old company it is better to have retrogression than no job! so losing my PD sucks, but no choice.
which evidence are you referring to here? do you mean evidence that my 8th year extension was valid, because I had...
this is a very nice poem.
I recently sent an email to Senator Cornyn who introduced the skil bill last year. Most of these lawmakers have no idea of what we are suffering. He sent me a nice respose. I suggest you send him this at SenateWebmail@cornyn.senate.gov
Now is a good time since...
my lawyer and employer dont care about my gc, so anything will have to be done by me. as long as they are able to get H-1 extension they dont care :(
I'm waiting for 8th year extension.
I asked my Congressman's office to call DOL, and they said that DOL claims since my case was closed that...
in this case, what if the old LC is withdrawn?
is the H-1 transfer to new company still valid, since it would be an extension but the underlying LC for the extension is now revoked?
if your old LC is withdrawn by your old employer there might be a problem. I am in a similar situation, LC filed in Dec 2004, on 8th year H-1b extension, and might lose my job.
IF LC is withdrawn I dont know if my H-1 extension is vald to transfer to a new job
I am in a similar situation. Applied for 8th year H-1 extension which will be valid till Dec 2007, LC pending in PBEC since 2004.
However, in my situation, if I change to a new employer based on extension, I am pretty sure my current employer will withdraw my pending LC.
Is there any way to...
 I am in Data Review for more than two years. PD Dec 2004, P-05222, EB3 RIR, NY.
what are first 5 numbers - representing state, or serial number?
I heard PBEC only answers questions if you are attorney or employer.
how do they know if you say you are lawyer's assistant or paralegal...
same with me.
are you going to call anyone at DOL regarding this? or your attorney?
did you have any errors in your case by DOL?
I had two wrong withdrawals, so does it get pushed to the back of the line?
oh man!
plus my attorney is totally uncooperative and incompetent and lazy. He never...
looks like we are the unlucky ones. mine is P-05222.
others in my series, including after mine are aslo showing In Process.
Are you going to call anyone at DOL regarding this? or your attorney?
where do you go to check this? Doesn't it also depend on state?
my pd is Dec 04 - EB3 RIR. My online status is saying Data Review for past 2 years and still has not changed to In Process. Can this be an indication of something wrong?
DOL erroneously closed it twice! But it was reinstated...
