Are there still many such EB2s? I'm one of them. My name check has been pending for 40 months when last time I checked. I'm curious how many people are in the same situation.

How di you manage to speak to the officer? I tried several times and all I got is an SR. Not able to get an immediate case info.

Does anyone have insight on why there are so few EB2 approvals so far? My PD is 3/04 and RD is 1/04, yet I am still waiting. I opened an SR last week and will see what it says.

When I called just minutes ago, the officer din't give me any info. When I asked about Name Check, he said it is their internal check and there is no way he can disclose that info to me. He said I called to the wrong place, which is supposed to handle all approvals and denies, not pending cases...

Mine is the oldest.

Now, I am one of the oldest PDs. Even my RD is pretty old. Yet, I'm an EB2 case. I seldom see an EB2 approval, especially, around my PD/RD. How long do I have to wait....?

I am waiting for my I-485 since 1/15/2004. Name check hasn't cleared by now. My priority date was 3/2002 and I'm on EB2.

I am facing the same headache. I am the EB2 case at NSC, with PD 3/2002, 485 RD 1/2004. A name check was requested on 1/29/2004 and still pending. I don't know what they are doing!!!
