Received 45-day letter
I just got a call from my lawyer who informed me that my 45-day letter just arrived today and that she will be replying to it immediately. I will keep you all informed of the progress. She said that she feels it should take under a month to get the Labor approval...
I am in a similar situation with my H1B expired and the application for my H1B extenstion and my wifes H4 extension in process. As long as you have your receipt notice that they have recieved your application you can continue to keep working in the US.
I have a PD of Dec 2001 for Indiana EB2 and case never went to Regional. I received my number T-05140-29XXX from a screen shot as well as from the the Senator. Still no 45-day letter.

This is the link to the case that got labor approved in one month after receiving and replying to the 45 day letter. It is #9997 post under the thread "Dallas Backlog Elimination Center Tracking"
I made the 4 to 8 month assumption by following how much time it has taken for people who have received 45 day letters to get their LC approved. Yesterday I saw a person with an Aug 01 PD get his LC approved in one month. But most people are getting it approved within 8 months.
Please update the tracker with my info

Feb 06 Visa Bulettin
The latest visa bulettin is out and the date has progressed to Aug 01 for EB2 cases and to Jan 00 for EB3 cases. This is a forward movement of 6 months and for EB2 cases it has moved beyond the dreaded April 01 date and so is a good sign (look at the updates on...
Confused??
My case number starts with a T and not D. It is T-05140. It is an RIR case with a PD (for Indiana, never went to regional) of 12/19/2001. The case status says "Incomplete" (on the screen shot I got in May'05).
I have not received a 45 day letter. Can someone please please...
I have been reading your posts Devar and I think you are right on the money with your comments. These other guys are just trying to instigate you to derive some kind of pleasure. I have been waiting since Dec 2001 (pd) too for the 45 day letter and due to Indiana being so backed up I too am...

RIR - Never made it to Regional
Still haven't received the 45 day letter. Last I have seen some June 2001 guys receive the 45 day letter.
you are mistaken. they must be cases that went to Regional. My lawyer is one of the biggest in Indianapolis and they told me that they have just received letters for upto June 2001 cases that never went to Regional. She also said that she has received 45 day letters for 2002 and 2003 cases...
Swa Case 12/2001. Never Made It To Regional. I Posted A Note Saying That My Lawyer Told Me She Had Received 30 45-day Letters For Swa Cases. I Was Wrong......they Were All For Cases That Made It To The Regional And Were For April 2001. Sorry About That.
I applied my State Labor in Indiana in December 2001. I called up my lawyer yesterday and asked her how the process was going. She told me that she had received 30 45-day letters and they were all for April 2001 applicants for State Labor. She also told me that she had not received a single...
