I also got an RFE for my son a week back. Mine and my wife's status is not changed. RFE is about a medical test. I am guessing once they get back response, they might (???) open primary applicant's file again. On my son's RFE they mentioned my name as primary applicant. My ND is Aug 29, 2001.
My ND is Aug 29, 2001. It looks like they opened my file. They sent an RFE for my son for TB test results. At the time of applying for AOS, Doctor told us this test is not required for kids. I checked the USCIS web page now and it says this test is required for all who are 2 years and older.
I moved from Texas to California. But they did not move my case. I updated address and submitted AR-11. My new lawyer said it all depends on the INS people. They might tarnsfer or they can approve if they feel like the applicant waited for long enough time.
