Got AP today RD 07/30/01 ND 09/21/01 AP 10/18/01 I haven\'t received EADs yet... and AVM does not say anything related to it.

When did you mail your application ?

I heard today on CNN that the government is considering freezing immigration (and closing the borders) for six months. Does anyone have any more detailed info? I wonder also how the I-485s would be affected in such case.
