Hi GC2CITI... nice nick ;) You will be sending your N400 to TSC (Texas) and all the correspondence will be issued by them to you. Fill your N400 correctly and mail it with the payment. They will send you a NOA (notice of action) confirming the reception and the priority date. The first step...

What I do also is to keep a protected PDF copy of the Passport and the Naturalization certificate in a web storage service (there are some free ones) as well as in my website. You can't forget your encryption key although.... :D PDF is quite secure and use a non suspicious name like family...

Well, my experience was totally different... got naturalized and travelled 4 days later. Upon returning the immigration officer checked my passport, typed something in the computer and gave it back to me saying "happy to be the first one to welcome you as a citizen"... nice touch, made my day...

Good that you will be back helping others, that's what I call attitude! Congratulations and wait to feel how good it is to handle the certificate.... Celebrate as you are receiving one of the most valuable pieces of paper that there are. ;)

Did someone say "optimistic person" here... Sorry but I think you will waste your time asking for an oath just 2 weeks after the interview...here in Miami it takes around 90 days in average from the interview to the oath if everything is really fine... I would transfer your infopass to a little...
