Data Entry and New Delhi consulate Visa # table vs. Visa bulletin
Did BECs meet their Sept deadline for 100% cases at least partially entered? Murthy bulletin has stopped giving us that information and I haven't seen any updates on the Forum either. Gurus -- what's your take? how much longer...
Hi chiki,
I do not think that the BEC has a concept of the 2 part labor certification that existed before BEC days (SWA and regioanal). It is just one queue at this point. I am not sure that the cases that made to Regional before they went to BEC might take less time to process than the SWA...
Yes, the information about birth country is correct. Even though your wife is an Indian citizen, the fact that she was born in a different country counts for 485.
You are eligible to use your birth country's quota if your country of citizenship quota is backlogged. I am in the same situation...
Murthy.com on using falsely using 7th yr extension email verification
Hi All,
I know that most of us want to be kept updated on our case and find out what's happening with it. The loophole in teh 7th yr extension email address has been so abused now that there's a message on Murthy.com's...
Yes, their logic for it is "if you get trained on the job, they might as well have taken an american an trained him/her on the job". too bad since i have some skills that would really set me apart from the 200-300 applications they received for my position but since we couldn't use those, arghhh!!!!
CA cases in Philadelphia BEC?
Hi,
I know there have been talks about some CA cases being shipped to Philly. Our lawyers said taht it wasn't an accident and the DOL website isn't accurate. So now the question is, do we know how many of the CA cases ended up in Philly? Are they regional or SWA...

Just to get myself on the spreadsheet though i am months away from even receiving a 45-day letter. There are 2 others in my office with the same details as me, (one of them maybe EB2)
PD - Dec 29 2004

2 months to mail approval?
Per daloon's post, it took BEC 2 months to mail him the approval notice? Boy, for his/her sake, i wish it had arrived as soon as his/her case was approved so they could've filed for 140/485 concurrently.. don't know if they will make an exception for his/her case for...
Do you think DBEC is going to meet Sept 30 date?
I certainly hope so.. i haven't been in the LC queue for as long as a lot of you have, but it took us 3 years and 3 major rounds of layoffs b4 my company applied for my LC in RIR. So though I haven't been in the LC queue as long, its been a long...
