My company is going to go through a name change via an acquisition. When is a new I140 required to be filed. The 180 days have been completed, should there be a filing of the 140. Any thoughts, comments would be greatly appreciated.

No Title Dont worry about it. I am told INS is pretty poor when it comes to updating their AVM systems. I filed in Aug 2000 got my receipts, AP, EAD and got my FP done in Nov 00 and still to this day the morons have not updated the AVM. Hope it helps

No Title Great News ACE. Seems like VSC is processing cases ranging from 10/99 to 02/00. Although the 01/00 or 02/00 cases that i have seen are usually for EB2 Country other. God speed to VSC....

No Title This is very interesting. Can you please list out the documents needed for an EAD renewal in your case (self applied at Local INS office). I am guessing you got the application filled out by the attorney and got some sort of employment verification from employer.
