    All done! I had the oath ceremony last week in San Francisco and applied for a passport at that time. Today, just 8 days later, the passport has arrived in the mail. I used the expedite option; glad I didn't pay for overnight mail. So finally, I'm done. Best wishes to all.

    LOL... my interview was in June 2006 and the oath letter arrived a couple of weeks ago -- a year and a half later. I reckon my case is not the norm, but you're on pins after just 17 days?
