What\'s you opinion on my case:
RD Jan 5 2001
ND Jan 18 2001
FP March 29 2001.
According to your theory I will get 485 approval in about 3 months from now.
Any opinion would be appreciated. Thanks.

Can you elaborate on your statement: "early FP and early approvals belong to countries other than India".
I am curious because my country of chargeability is Switzerland.
I thought country has no bearing on 485 processing speed once the application...

Asked IIO when my AP will be approved. Told me my application is with an officer now. He also said my wife\'s AP was approved yesterday.
I also asked about I-485 (just for the hell of it). He said they\'re currently working on Jan.2000 cases.
My wife applied for her Social Security card (took her new EAD) at the downtown Chicago office on April 9th.
She hasn\'t received anything in the mail yet.
Does anybody have any idea how long it takes?
thanks.

You must be a very lucky person to have your I-485 approved in 2 months. Especially considering it\'s NSC.
Well, if it\'s legit - then Congratulations!

Losing LC applications is a routine occurrence at the Chiacgo DOL.
They lost mine after having approved it. My lawyer pulled some strings with them and got things sorted out. But unlike your poor friend I only lost about 6 months time.
I strongly urge your friend to...
Somebody on the CSC board had a ND in Jan, approval came yesterday!
How come such a disparity in speed with NSC and CSC?
Out of curiosity, does anybody think NSC will start to move that fast anytime soon?
I\'m wondering because I (and many others who applied in Jan) got FP notices +...

First, may I suggest you take some lessons in basic English.
Second, if your time is so precious why do you bother responding to annoying posts?

She got approved April 3rd and card was in our mailbox April 7th.
My EAD was approved April 6th so I\'m expecting card sometime this week.

AndhraPillodu,
I believe you can get it from local INS 90 calendar days from the receipt date.
My 90th day is next thursday - I think I\'m going to go then.

I think you need to take copies of I-485 application, I-765 application, receipt notices for 485, 765, fees (I think $100 per EAD), and any other supporting documents like passports, etc.
You\'d better ask your lawyer exactly what is needed though.
Have you heard anything...

Icy - thanks for your response. Please post to this thread when the EAD comes thru.
May I ask which city you are in (I\'m in Chicago).
Are you planning to go to local INS after 90 days? (I\'m considering it).
My RD Jan 5th, ND Jan 18th.
No EAD approval yet.
I\'m getting concerned because most people are getting it within 3 to 6 weeks.
Please post your details + approved or no.
If I moved to a new company after 180 days is there any danger to travel on AP?
i.e. when entering the country will the INS officer ask you who is your employer? If the stated employer is different than the sponsoring one you\'re sure to get a local transfer/interview.
