I was approved on 13th and waiting for original notice. Can I go on any weekday or a particular day is only allowed? What all extra documents I need to carry? Any directions on which entrance to take? Thanx in advance.

Hi dec2000 ... you can call NVC to check the date of shipment... They are prompt in telling the dates. I think give it a month and you should get your approval.(There is delay in receiving mail as you know).

Thanks guys... I am sure you guys will be approved in next...few days... It seems my lawyer didn\'t send anything to NVC. I talked with him and he told me there is some kind of screwup in the CP system. INS approves 140 and sends it to NVC. NVC supposed to send xfer 140 electronically...

Finally, heard this case has been approved. PD - 10/99 RD - 1/8/01 ND - 1/16/01 FP - 5/3/01 AD - 12/13/01 (just heard on AVM... yesterday was same old tune )               (same message today morning \'Your app.\'...

I talked to my lawyer today...and he told me they are into april... IIO even told me today they are into mar\' end cases (easy cases). Don\'t know what\'s easy case is?????

thanks a bunch ... I did check with IIO reg. 140. IIO told me (this was 1 month back) they don\'t have it in the system and they requested the same from NVC. Called NVC they have recd a letter from somewhere and they sent the 140 on 2nd Nov to INS...My guess is due to mail delays INS have not...

same here.... Can\'t even check the status with IIO...I guess IIO\'s don\'t know anything. Last time when I called, IIO told me to call in the month of Jan\'2002 if I don\'t get approval by then. ND:1/16/01 FP:5/03/01 CP 140

I am in the same boat - 140 papers requsted...from nvc storage I guess we should sit back and relax and forget abt approval till Jan. what do you think?

means your original labor certification, 140 papers - (FILE) have come back to VSC...  

Me too...waiting... IIO told me the same sometime back that they don\'t need the 140 which was sent. But then when I talk to NVC I came to know this they need the file from NVC in order to merge it with the original papers. You can call IIO and ask him why the case is pending if the file...

joma ...did u call NVC...and talk to the live person to see where your file.. I did the same thing sometime back and they have recd a request from an IIO to send my file back. NVC sent my file on 2nd november. Could you check the status of your file and post. thanx.. Before this transfer...
